Whether you’re decorating your home, business, or working with a client, custom paintings are a great way to add a unique design to any space. My commission process is collaborative, where I value your input to make sure you receive a unique piece tailored to you, within my painting style.

Here's How it Works

Step 1: Align on your Vision

As a first step we'll discuss your overall vision, covering topics such as: What's the feeling or story you’d like to convey? Do you have initial thoughts on size, colors, or location? What visual styles inspire you? Do you have a budget? If you’re not sure about some of this, no worries. We'll work together, and I can provide suggestions along the way. 

 

Step 2: Agree on Details

Once we align on the overall vision, we’ll lock in the specifications, including the size, color palette, overall aesthetic, and pricing.

 

Step 3: Mockup and Review

I will create a few smaller mockups on paper to convey what your painting may look like, with a few variations in color and composition to review. The smaller mockups will use similar proportions to the larger final painting size. The agreed upon mockup will be used as the guide for the final piece. 

 

Step 4: Final Painting

Please note that before the final painting can be started, a 50% down payment will be required. At this point I will begin creating the final painting and share progress photos along the way, as well as a photo for final approval. Upon approval, the remaining 50% payment will be due prior to shipping or delivery. I will ship using priority/express shipping services such as FedEx, UPS or DHL.

Please note:

  • Commissioned paintings do not include frames

  • Installation is not included

  • Shipping and sales tax to be paid by the buyer, and will be included in the final invoice
